Iran's Supreme Leader yesterday endorsed Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as president for a new four-year term in a ceremony boycotted by leading moderates. Two former presidents Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani and Mohammad Khatami and defeated presidential candidates Mirhossein Mousavi and Mehdi Karroubi did not attend the ceremony.
